What do I need for my notary appointment?
For your appointment, you will need the document(s) you need notarized, your ID, and any witnesses to your signature if applicable.
What kind of ID is required?
The following forms of ID are acceptable for your notary appointment: Florida driver's license, Florida identification card, U.S. passport, foreign passport stamped by the United States Immigration and Naturalization Service, out-of-state driver's license or identification card, military identification card, veteran health identification card, inmate identification card issued by the Florida Department of Corrections or the United States Department of Justice, and identification card issued by the United States Immigration and Naturalization Service. These IDs must have been issued within the past five years and bear a serial or identifying number, or be current.
How far in advance should I schedule my notary appointment?
We ask that you schedule your appointment as far in advance as you can, but we know last minute needs come up. If possible we ask for 30-60 minutes in advance of your desired appointment time so that we can allow for travel time or the time it take to get your document ready to sign via remote online notarization.

What is a remote online notary and is it accepted for all documents?
A remote online notary, also known as an RON, virtual notary or enotary is a notary public who is authorized to perform notarial acts using audio-visual technology and electronic signatures. With remote online notarization, the notary and signer interact through a secure online platform, allowing for the notarization of documents without the need for in-person meetings. Remote online notaries adhere to specific legal requirements and guidelines established by the jurisdiction in which they are commissioned, ensuring the validity and integrity of the notarial process in the digital realm. Remote online notarizations are accepted for any document that accepts electronic signatures. If you are unsure if electronic signatures are accepted, ask the document recepient for confirmation.
Should I book a mobile notary or a remote online notary appointment?
The type of notary appointment you choose is up to you! If you have minimal tech skills a mobile notary might be more your style. We can meet you in person to notarize your document. If you are always on the go, a remote online notary might work best. Our remote online notary can set your appointment up quickly and work with you directly from your phone!
How do I pay for my notary appointment?
Your payment method is determined by the type of notarization you choose, remote online or mobile. Our mobile notary can accept cash, Zelle, or Venmo. Our virtual notary accepts payments via the online notarization platform, Zelle, Venmo, or Stripe.
I booked a remote online notarization. Now what?
Thank you for booking a remote online notarization appointment! Once your appoinemnt is booked, you will need to upload your document so that it can be prepared for the online signing. Before your appointment you will recieve an email from the online platform to set up your account. You and your notary will meet on the online platform during your appointment time, you'll answer some questions to verify your identity, upload your ID, and electronically sign your document. After your session ends, you will be sent to a payment screen to pay for your appointment and your document will be available to download. Note that a military ID cannot be used for remote online notarization.
