What do I need to have my documents notarized online?
The signer must have a valid photo ID, must be coherent, and be willing to sign the document.
The signer cannot be under duress in any shape or form to sign the document.
Before booking, make sure to inspect your documents carefully to see how many signatures are being notarized, and double-check to see if the document does not call for additional witnesses*.
*Please note: Empowered Ink Notary can provide a witness for remote online notarizations for an additional fee. Document witnesses should not be named in the document or be blood-related to the signer.
